Treework Environmental
Practice (TEP) provides a wide ranging consultancy service
designed to respond to the needs of managers, landowners,
developers and wildlife managers. TEP has invested in improving
the awareness and understanding of our national heritage of
ancient trees, and works to pioneer new approaches to safeguard
their habitat for future generations.
We work with major governmental agencies, such
as English Nature and English Heritage, the National Trust,
Wildlife Trusts and other key environmental organisations
to improve the understanding and management of ancient trees.
The practice is built on a sound background in
ecological and arboricultural expertise, applied through a
dedication to improving the health and viability of the nation's
trees. We offer integrated solutions to problems linked with
landowners' and occupiers' responsibility for the safe and
sensitive management of trees in the landscape. This approach
has the challenge of balancing requirements of habitat, the
environment and safety.
Through a multi-disciplinary approach, we target
our expertise to ensure rapid solutions, resolving conflicts
between planning, design and habitat conservation.
Neville Fay, Senior Consultant and Practice Director,
is also Chairman of the Ancient
Tree Forum and publishes advance knowledge on the
management and conservation of ancient trees and associated
habitat.
