required to follow guidelines set out in BS5837 (1991), Trees
in Relation to Construction.
The British Standard 5837 (1991), Trees in Relation to
Construction provides guidelines for assessing the likely
effects of a proposed development and advises a range of reasonable
measures for safeguarding trees of value.
