A day in the life S&M-LS

At the turn of a new year, a lot of people consider and begin to look for ways to be better, both at work and in life.

At Treework, we embrace any goals and love sharing or working with others in our close-nit team, to achieve!

On a personal level, it’s about finding new challenges and beating self-orientated targets. This year sees Lois taking on the Hackney Half Marathon in May, whilst Simon is gearing up for the 100km Race to the Stones ultra-marathon in July.

Whilst these are different races, they carry the same mindset: to push boundaries and support each other along the way!

Our Sales and Marketing team are highly motivated by helping our growing client base and increasing our portfolio of projects. So, professionally, it’s about keeping Sales & Marketing proactive and focused.

This means that every morning, we take 10-15 focused minutes to set the tone for the day and:
✅ Flag urgent client and consultant queries
✅ Review the CRM dashboards to keep the pipeline healthy
✅ Block time out for high-priority quotes that require detailed scoping, possibly with a member of our expert team of consultants

After this, it’s all about execution.

We need to gather the right information from clients to ensure that we accurately scope work before quoting, meet deadlines for tenders and deliver fee proposals promptly, whilst incorporating updates and additional fees. Working in a systematic and communicative way are key to meet these challenges and it means that even last-minute requests are handled effectively.

Beyond client work, there is momentum that needs to be maintained on internal projects, developing new marketing campaigns, coordinating events and producing content for a range of channels as well as developing new products and services.

With over 40 years of proven knowledge, innovation and quality in the field of arboriculture, we need to make sure every interaction reflects precision and value. And, for our sales and marketing team, it’s never just about business, or beating a target, it’s about building trust and making the process easy and reassuring for our clients.
