October of 2015 was the beginning of James’ journey with Treework. He worked independently as a botanist and ecologist after graduating from college and was a highway surveyor before joining our company.
James’ work shows that he has always been passionate about the environment, and this, together with his professionalism, is what led to his promotion, which came as no surprise for the entire team.
To acknowledge his accomplishments, our team decided to ask James about his thoughts on his new position. Here’s what he had to say:
‘’I’m very pleased to become a consultant. Treework has allowed me to progress at my own rate as I have wanted to spend as much time as possible out in the field being able to survey and assess trees.’’
James’ accomplishments make us really proud, and he has a tremendous amount of enthusiasm for trees. But what are the major benefits he sees in surveying trees for Treeworks?
‘’One of the best things about surveying trees is the potential to travel around the country assessing trees in very diverse locations and situations. We’re involved with many notable projects which allows me to gain well-rounded knowledge.’’
James’ plans for the future:
James is constantly eager to expand his horizons and expertise, even though he is already well-skilled and knowledgeable, and Treework supports him in doing so. This is what James has in store for the future:
‘’I am about to undertake the VetCert qualification in September following multiple postponements due to Covid. Treework always encourages and supports staff to pursue further training and study.’’
Congratulations and keep going James!
