Alex Needs MICFor MArborA RCArborA is a Principal Arboricultural Consultant at Treework Environmental Practice. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked as the Senior Tree Officer at Elmbridge Borough Council and as a consultant, managing projects in both the public and private sectors.

He is a highly-skilled consultant with experience spanning across surveying, consultancy contract management, strategic planning, and project management. Alex is very knowledgeable in dealing with trees in planning and development and has wide experience in managing large and small scale tree inventory and risk projects.

As well arboricultural qualifications from both the Royal Forestry Society and the Arboricultural Association, he has a degree in linguistics and holds the LANTRA Professional Tree Inspection certificate and is a registered user of the Quantified Tree Risk Assessment system. He is a registered consultant with both the Arboricultural Association and the Institute of Chartered Foresters, and has Highways England and CSCS clearance.
