Arbor Day at Myerscough College

Last week Senior Arboricultural Consultant James Butler-White spent the day at Myerscough College’s 6th Arbor Day UK!

We are grateful to James for representing Treework and the Ancient Tree Forum on this occasion, to celebrate the hugely impactful significance of trees and inspire a new generation of budding arborists. The day included lectures from professionals in the industry, and a special message from patron Dan Snow, MBE.

No Arbor Day would be complete without an official tree planting to mark the occasion, and this year the Bilsborrow campus has a new hornbeam, expertly planted by Callum Throw (we love the speeded up video of this!). See here https://lnkd.in/ex9aiacQ
