Elmo the Elm Tree

Back in February 2023, to celebrate our company’s 40th birthday, we proudly teamed up with Elms4London. As part of this exciting collaboration, our team – Lois, Claire, and Luke—joined the Ideverde team at Stratford Olympic Park to plant a special Elm tree, which we fondly named “Elmo.”

This was a particularly memorable occasion for Lois, as it was the very first tree she had ever planted. Living locally to the Olympic Park, she takes immense pride in seeing its progress and growth.

We were all thrilled to get a chance to see Elmo firsthand this past July. During a soil team project in Lee Valley and the Olympic Park, Lois, Claire, and Simon visited the site. Lois had the opportunity to observe how soil samples are taken, and we were all delighted to see Elmo thriving in all its glory, two years after it was planted. It was a wonderful reminder of the lasting impact of our commitment to the environment and the pride we all share in watching our efforts flourish.
