Finsbury Circus Gardens

The City of London has reopened Finsbury Circus Gardens, following a glorious transformation!

Arboriculturally, this was a particularly complex project, with significant level changes and new hard landscape around well established, iconic trees in a historic London square.

We are delighted to have supported Maylim to deliver the City of London’s vision and the Realm, Studio Weave, and ARCHITECTURE 00 design has delivered new trees, improved seating, enhanced habitats for birds, bees and bats and sustainable drainage.

We approached the arboriculture / design / implementation challenges with our usual evidence-based expertise and practicality.

We brought a team of consultants to review the background information, investigate the root environments of the trees, communicate the implications and the options and oversee the agreed implementation.
