We’re thrilled to share with you that Treework’s founding director, Neville Fay, will be a leading figure at the American Society of Consulting Arborists (ASCA) conference happening this week!

This prestigious event is taking place from Wednesday December 4^th to Friday 6^th December in Tucson, Arizona, and is a fantastic opportunity for arboriculture professionals to connect, learn, and share knowledge.

Workshop: Conservation Arboriculture (Wednesday, December 4^th)

This in-depth workshop will delve into Neville’s renowned approach to conservation arboriculture. He will be sharing valuable insights into techniques for managing and preserving these irreplaceable giants of the landscape.

Keynote Speech: Trees: A Lifespan Approach – Inspired by Ancient Trees (Thursday, December 5th)

Neville will share the story behind The European Roads for Nature initiative, which recognised a gap in the literature to help guide arborists conserve trees through to the ancient phase.

With more than 35 years of experience, Neville is a globally recognised authority on veteran trees and sustainable arboriculture practices. He is an ICF chartered arboriculturist and director of the UK non-profit organisation, the Sustainable Soils Alliance. He holds an Arboricultural Association Award for Services to Arboriculture (2009) and chairs the Ancient Tree Forum (ATF) technical advisory panel and the drafting committee of the National Tree Safety Group (NTSG). Nev is an expert witness in tree-failure related injury cases, writes and lectures on conservation arboriculture and tree risk management, and works on soil and tree health projects. He co-authored Trees – a Lifespan Approach and Natural England’s Veteran Tree Specialist Survey Method. He co-founded Tree Aid, an environmental charity working on community-based tree solutions for African dryland.
