Treework Supports Clients with CPD

Throughout the year, the Treework team deliver continuous professional development training to different clients, businesses and organisations that navigate the complexities and harness the benefits of trees.

This is always a good opportunity for our experts to share our knowledge of how the careful consideration of trees throughout design, planning and construction results in the delivery of excellent developments with successful, highly sustainable public and private landscapes.

On 8th December, Luke and Alex delivered our CPD to Darling Associates. This presentation was one hour and covered how trees are considered throughout design, planning and construction, including the planning context, understanding tree roots, the process of considering trees throughout design, the application of tree value and 4D modelling and what happens when things go wrong.

Luke said: “It was such a pleasure for me and Alex to meet the team at Darling Associates and to share our knowledge of how the careful consideration of trees results in the delivery of excellent developments with successful, highly sustainable public and private landscapes. The team were brilliantly engaged and asked great questions.”

Usually delivered over lunch, teams are brilliantly engaged and ask great questions, especially when Luke introduces a technical term in his presentations that describes a “brand new scheme where the trees are dead or dying?”
